Nashville: 95% Iraqi Turnout

Nashville is home to the largest population of Kurdish Iraqis in America. The city was one of 5 chosen to host expatriate voting, along with Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles and Washington. The International Organization for Migration reported that 265,148 people voted worldwide representing 93.6% of those who registered. In Nashville, 3,744 Iraqis voted, which accounted for a staggering 95.3% of the people who registered. That number was the highest among the U.S. cities hosting the voting.
