As of November 30th, Iraqi forces have taken control of the border between Iraq and Syria. A ceremony was held in the town of Husaybah and was attended by members of the Iraqi government, military, and coalition leaders.

We are now a country of freedom, of human rights, and of peace.” - Iraqi Minister of Defense Saadoun al-DulaimiIraqi forces will continue to secure and control all border entry points and provide their own security efforts with limited coalition support.
Update: The AP reports that bombings in Iraq are at a seven month low.
